San Francisco Art Fair

April 17th to 20th 2025

San Francisco welcomed over 20,000 visitors to its iconic Art Fair, where 85 international galleries gathered to celebrate creativity and culture. It was an incredible honor that KIBRI was invited to participate—marking the only representation of the African Diaspora. This was a significant moment, particularly for Eritrean artists living in the Diaspora.
.

The artists we featured are inspired by that rich history—from the pre-colonial past to post-colonial resilience and contemporary challenges. Their lived experiences flow through their artwork, bringing something entirely new, raw, and powerful to the international art scene - including the last surviving indigenous script in Africa.
We were blown away by the response—from collectors to curators to a surprise compliment from Julia Roberts herself!

Thank you to Director of Cultural Affairs of San Francisco Ralph Remington, President of the San Francisco Arts Commission Chuck Collins, Art Ambassador & Advocate Paul Henderson, our volunteers and so many more.
